Reginald VelJohnson

Reggie VelJohnson is best known for his iconic role as the beloved TV dad in the sitcom Family Matters and as Officer Al Powell in the hit films Die Hard and Die Hard 2. Recently, he gained attention as the TV dad in five versions of Progressive’s national commercial campaign and showcased his singing in Planters' Christmas commercial. VelJohnson continues to shine in recent projects, co-starring in the indie film Roswell Delirium, leading the TV movie Ghost of Christmas Always, having a recurring role in Disney+ series Turner & Hooch, and starring in the indie feature Christmas Lottery.
